The publication of The Klink marks 40 years since the creation of the Klinkhåmer Special fishing fly in June 2024.
The fly is one of the most effective – and a widely copied – emerger patterns in the world today. Its deep-hanging body resembles an emerging insect and the parachute hackle creates a realistic footprint on the water’s surface. In 2023 the Klinkhåmer was voted in “Fishing Breaks” poll as the ‘Greatest Fly of All Time’.
The large-format jacketed hardback (£50) is 352 pages, illustrated with 675 colour photos.
